New York Flights
The Empire (City)
New York City has an Empire State of mind. The City that Never Sleeps’ skyscrapers outline the island of Manhattan, and is just about everyone’s top destination. If you are looking to fly more to NYC, and find a cheap flight, you have a lot of choices. With three nearby airports – John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), LaGuardia International Airport (LGA), and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), finding an inexpensive air ticket is easier than most. The U.S.A.’s largest city is extremely accessible and inexpensive to fly into for a perfect stay.
5 Boroughs, 5 Million Things to Do.
Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island. From food, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Broadway, Time Square and Central Park are just a few must visits in the Big Apple.
Attractions and Appeal
Wherever you go in the city, there is a lot to see. Most people love to go to Manhattan and Times Square, where you can see phenomenal architecture, shop, and see the lights and sights people recognize. You can also see the Statue of Liberty, 30 Rock, World Trade Center, and Empire State Building, the architecture for which this city is famous.
Events like the New Year’s Ball Drop, Thanksgiving Day Parade, and other celebrations are great times to check out the city. If you ever wanted to experience it at its best, you want to go when everything is buzzing with excitement.
You can also check out some of the most popular stops, for food and shopping, around the city. Many of these places stay the same all year, offering wonders no matter when you go.
Any time is a good time to visit New York City. There is always something going on here, night or day and any season.
SoHo: South of Houston St.
A mix of semi-bohemians, great shopping and a homey-neighborhood that is typical NYC. Visit the original Dean and Deluca on Broadway, walk around that area and find some great big stores and awesome little boutiques. Find a little restaurant to get a few bites
Little Italy and Chinatown
Only in New York can you find yourself at a street intersection and get the best cannoli you ever eat, and fantastic bargains from China. Have lunch or dinner at La Mella, and feel like you are part of the “Famiglia”… don’t order from the menu, just have them bring you food. They know what they are doing. During the day, visit all the stalls along Canal St. to find knick-knacks and a bunch of bargains.
The High Line
From an old train track, a park was born. Imagine gardens, walkways, park benches, places for kids to play and a jogging track. Now put it on an old train track that was built about 100 years ago, and run it along the west side of Manhattan between Hell’s Kitchen and 14th Street.
The Bethesda Terrace Arcade
You may have seen it in a hundred movies or TV shows, but it is not something that is on every tourist stop. The Bethesda Terrace, the pond and the Arcade are the perfect places to take a selfie or to just enjoy the afternoon.
New York should be on everyone’s bucket list. Not as a one-time destination, but somewhere to visit often. Its ever-changing face is always familiar. It is a place you can get a plate of Ramen, a hotdog, spaghetti, dim-sum and the latest fashion pieces within 5 minutes walking. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall this is a place to go.
